Below are the men and Women who achieved the Rank of Black Belt under the direction of Mr. Rick Williams...Each person listed is an individual with different gifts and talents. All have had a positive impact on the school and the instructors. These high achievers both young and old have had and still have a mission to make the world a better place by being the example of leadership and commitment in all they do.
Jason Williams was my first Black Belt. In the past when I had a student ready to test I would have Mr. Hale come and promote them, but this was my son and the honours were mine. The Federation came in force that day to be a part of the celebration. It was a great day. Jason and my son James were the foundation of the long history I have had in the Kaufman area. With the help of my two boys lead by my first black belt Jason we have continued to bring the gift of Martial Arts to the community we live in for more than 27 years.

James Preston Williams. Was named after my Sensei Mr Preston Hale. James is my second son and was the main instructor of the Kaufman Karate Association when promoted. He became my next most distinguished Black Belt. He was not the second black belt that I promoted but the next one I was most proud of. When his brother joined the Army and was sent over seas James stepped up and assumed the mantel of leadership. Through his efforts and dedication the standards and quality of the school continued. Many of the black belts that came before and after give James the credit for there training.
